Princess Sophie and Prince Georg Friedrich had extended an invitation to a concert at Hohenzollern Castle on behalf of the Princess Kira of Prussia Foundation.<\/p>\n
In her welcome address, Princess Sophie, Chair of the Foundation\u2019s Board, spoke about how important it is for children and young people to be able to have experiences that many others take for granted. Doing things together and discovering new things are an integral part of this for her. Music, in particular, can open up a world of possibilities.<\/p>\n
This year\u2019s guests were the German Gents. Fifteen years ago, the four singers had already performed at the Schauspielhaus in Berlin on the eve of Prince Georg Friedrich and Princess Sophie\u2019s wedding, as members of the boys\u2019 choir of the Staats- und Domchor zu Berlin. Today, they perform as an ensemble in their own name.<\/p>\n
For almost 75 years, the Princess Kira of Prussia Foundation has been enabling children and young people to enjoy free holidays and community projects at Hohenzollern Castle.<\/p>\n
