Prince Georg Friedrich of Prussia was once again in attendance this year as patron of the Bentley-Hohenzollern Cup in Hechingen.<\/p>\n
Around 450 children from eleven nations gathered at the Weiherstadion in Hechingen for the international football tournament for under-10s. Teams from the region played against youth teams from major European clubs \u2013 including Juventus Turin, Manchester City, Galatasaray Istanbul, Arsenal London, Borussia Dortmund and Werder Bremen.<\/p>\n
\u201cOne of Europe\u2019s best-attended youth football tournaments has found its home at the foot of Hohenzollern Castle,\u201d said Prince Georg Friedrich. \u201cMy special thanks go to the main organisers Nicklas Becker and Steffen Krauss, Bentley InnoMed as the main sponsor with its managing director Sebastian B\u00fcchert, and the many volunteers who make this special tournament possible.\u201d<\/p>\n
Also in attendance was Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg\u2019s Minister for Economic Affairs, Dr Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut.<\/p>\n
The U10 team from Juventus Turin secured the tournament victory. As a special reward, the team will be able to spend the night at Hohenzollern Castle next year.<\/p>\n
With around 450 participating children, 30 youth teams, players from eleven nations, more than 100 volunteers and over 2,000 visitors, the Bentley-Hohenzollern Cup has once again impressively demonstrated this year the appeal this tournament has developed over recent years.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
