The occasion was the official opening of the military history collection. Lieutenant Colonel Teichgr\u00e4ber, the battalion commander, hosted the event.<\/p>\n<p>For the exhibition, Prince Georg Friedrich has lend the association a version of the Order of the Black Eagle. Further exhibits from the House of Hohenzollern include documents relating to the transfer of the coffins of Frederick the Great and Frederick William I in 1991, as well as personal letters from former Federal Chancellor Helmut Kohl to Prince Louis Ferdinand of Prussia.<\/p>\n<p>Also on display are the historic coffin seals of Frederick William I, which Prince Georg Friedrich received back last year from the Monuments Men and Women Foundation.<\/p>\n<p>Following the opening ceremony, Federal Chancellor Friedrich Merz presented a flag ribbon to the Guard Battalion.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Prince Georg Friedrich and Prince Christian Ludwig paid a visit to the Guard Battalion at the Federal Ministry of Defence in Berlin.
