How to get to the castle by train and bus:
Trains are connecting directly to Hechingen from Stuttgart Airport via Stuttgart central station.
Departure: Arrival:
Stuttgart central station 10.16 am - Hechingen station 11:20 am (daily)
Stuttgart central station 12.16 pm - Hechingen station 1:20 pm (daily)
and then with the bus to the castle:
Departure: Arrival:
Hechingen station 11:25 am - Hohenzollern castle parking lot (daily)
Hechingen station 1:25 pm - Hohenzollern castle parking lot (1)
Return:
Departure:
4:05 pm Hohenzollern castle parking lot to Hechingen station (daily)
5:30 pm Hohenzollern castle parking lot to Hechingen station (2)
6:30 pm Hohenzollern castle parking lot to Hechingen station (1)
(1) = daily from April 1st to October 31st
(2) = saturday/sunday from April 1st to October 31st

How to get to Hohenzollern Castle
Cars and buses can be parked in the lower parking lot. From here a 20-minute walk along a paved footpath takes you uphill to the castle entrance. We also offer an optional bus shuttle-service (at a small cost) which operates on a regular basis in the summer, taking you from the parking lot to the castle entrance and back.
