After decades of misappropriation several of the palaces of the March Brandenburg have been recovered despite the substantial losses during the war and the post war era. Examples like Rheinsberg, Caputh, Koenigs Wusterhausen, Oranienburg, and Paretz stand for the interesting development of the architecture and life at the court throughout three centuries - even from a European perspective.
